On August 20, NSCD took climate language off the screen and into a cute Granville Island bookstore — bilingual vocabulary cards, real conversations, and a round of Climate Charades.
Learning Climate Across Languages: NSCD at CityHive
In May 2025, NSCD hosted an interactive climate terms translation game at CityHive Vancouver's Shifting Systems: Youth Action Community Showcase. The workshop used bilingual cards, playful guessing, and cross-cultural dialogue to explore how language shapes climate literacy.
